Weiss Alpha

Whoa, what’s that? An ACTUAL drawing? Sure it’s shitty and all but hey - after about year of non-existence you don’t look a gifted horse in the mouth, huh?

Either way - here’s an ‘expanded’ version of one of the characters I thought up a while ago, namely - Weiss α (Yes, that’s an ‘Alpha’ if you’re wondering, I thought it sounded cool). I wanted to give him a bit of a ‘failed experiment’ or ‘technobiology’ look. Don’t know if I succeeded. That said - the story for this chum is that he was supposed to be an organism that adapts to any situation or damage, and would be extremely versatile in combat or colonization. All the little metal disks and metal bars on his skin were to serve as ‘dampers’ that would stop his mutations from modifying his bone structure and thus - allowing him to retain a relatively human shape. This didn’t work out as intended and his body reacted violently to any physical trauma with violent and sudden expansion of muscle mass around the damaged spot. Because the growth was uncontrolled and chaotic it often left the body part either broken or completely unusable. I tried to show this using his arm as an example - the upper part was ‘based’ around a gunshot wound (on the left side where the pink muscles seem to ‘gravitate’ towards) and the lower - an open knife wound (the strip of lighter muscle nested between the bulge and thick fibers on the right). As you can see - it’s not a pretty sight.
